Not bad. I like Tasnim and this isn't that much different, although Tasnim has a much better meaning :)

Tamsin ends in a short -in whereas Tasnim is tas-NEEM, so to my ears they sound really different!

Yes they do. However the look of a name is important to me as well. Soundwise Tamsin sounds to me like the cheerful little sister of Tasnim :)
