I'm not sure what difference this makes...
Various people have shortened my name in 3 ways (Vicky, Tory, Tor).
I only like one of them based on sound (Tor), so I don't mind being called that, but I'd never introduce myself that way. It'd feel weird, because I'm more familiar with what my parents called me. And I hate being called Vicky, but I don't hate Victoria.
