Birdie is an okay nickname... not at all as a given name.

I don't really like the sound of Bridie.

Is it 'cause of the "bride" sound? I used to really dislike that but I dig it now for whatever reason.

Not precisely, though I do have a general aversion to 'Br' names that I can't entirely explain, though that tends to be more the case with boys.

I'm not completely sure what I don't like about it. It just feels... unfinished That doesn't quite cover all of my impression, but
