I dislike it, to be honest :(

The more elegant, agreeable spelling would have been, in my opinion, Cruze Lee S.
Quite passable, my enthusiasm remains limited.

Surely Croix isn't pronounced like Cruze? Is it?

I think it is pronounced KROY. People in the US generally say "Saint Croy" for places St Croix. My intuition on seeing the name Croix by itself is to say KWAH.
I think Croix "KROY" sounds kind of silly. But not totally out of nowhere.Cruze (pronounced like cruise) is apparently an Americanization of Spanish Cruz, so it's sort of a form of the same name.... Maybe that is what she means?

In French it's pronounced kro-AH.
