I'm dropping the "say" part because it's going to be all the same sort of polite dribble, like "Nice to meet you," or "Oh, what a lovely name."
This is my son,
Lucas Benjamin. Sometimes we call him
Luke.
Think: I'd call him
Luke all the time; I like it so much better than
Lucas. It's not a bad combo, though.
This is my daughter,
Mira Alexandra.
Think: Cute, but maybe not the best flow.
This is my son,
Gabriel Noah.
Think: Boring. I don't like
Gabriel anyway.
This is my daughter,
Raina Lily.
Think: Too wordy. But at least
Lily has been bumped to MN for a change.
This is my son,
William Daniel. Usually we call him
Liam.
Think: Nice. Very traditional, maybe even "safe." One of the best
William NNs, though.
This is my daughter,
Zofia Catherine.
Think:
Sofia Catherine would have been perfect.
Zofia looks like it's trying too hard to be unique since it's paired with something so classic.
This is my son,
Malachi Nicolas. Sometimes we call him
Kai.
Think: Ugh. Unless it's
Malakai, there's no reason to NN that. And for the love of goodness, please don't take that as a suggestion! :) Combo is cool, though.
This is my daughter, Oceana
Willow.
Think: Seems hippy, and definitely prn incorrectly, almost painfully!
This is my son,
Isaac Henry.
Think: Awesome. Great combo!
This is my daughter,
Noelle Anastasia.
Think: Doesn't really match.
This is my son,
Asher Benjamin.
Think: Great!
This is my daughter,
Eliana Selene (seh-LEEN).
Think: It's um different.
