Very chic.
We considered this ourselves. My brother is an Edward, and we looked at it to honor him.
I happen to think it's a bit edgier than a lot of names out there. Plus, it's has associations with science, so that is always a plus for me... because kids are far less interested in science than I would like them to be!
Though it's recognizable, it's not very popular and it's a fresher choice than Kaiden or Jackson, etc.
Btw - we had picked the nn Edis if that helps.
