Is Rinuccio a separate name or just a diminutive of Rino? If it's a separate name, what does it mean?

The Italian Wikipedia gives Rinuccio as a mere variant of Rino:

And I found somebody on Facebook who titled his page "Rino ... detto Rinuccio ..." with "detto" = "called".
