Help[Games] (Sorry it took so long but) ROUND 3 of Build-a-family
About a year and a half has past. You have finally entered Grade 6, not too long ago. One day you come home "Mom, Dad! something great happened today!" What was it? Give detail. Your parents finally give in to letting you get your dream pet. What is it?
One night you have a bad dream, you go down stairs to your parents to tell them, when you over hear them talk. Your mom says her doctor told her she was pregnant again. (some of you got ahead of me!) What do you do? how do you feel? Do you tell the crew (your sibling(s), if any, I know most of you do because I read them, and enjoyed them) =) Yes I know thats a lot for one round! lol! Remember, go nuts! Be creative, I read them all and really enjoy them!

I'm finally in the sixth grade. I'm actaully doing quite well. Like last week in math, I got a score of 105% correct, because I got the whole test, and the bonus question correct. My teacher said no one got a better score than 90% except for me! My parents are so proud of me. They said because of my exellent grades so far, we can finally get a hamster. I wanted a puppy. And after I asked about the --- maybe 16th or 17th time, They upgraded (lol) it to a puppy. (haha- upgraded!) YA!!! I am so happy, and guess what? were getting the most adorable yorkie puppy, which is about 6 inches tall!!!!! It is so cute! his name is Shadow and he's all mine!my life keeps gettin' better. Another good thing happened to me, again, not too long ago! Yesterday I found out tghat I was going to have the lead part in this big play! it is at a major theatre that is sold out sometimes when this play comes. Sometimes real actor/actresses (hope thats spelled corectly!) preform in in these plays! im so excited! But 3 nights ago, I had a dream that I was on a ride that goes up up up! then down down down. And when it went up it broke. Thats when I woke up. I went to tell mom and dad, then I had to obviously eavesdrop when I heard them talking.
Mom: I went to the doctor today because I wasnt felling very good this whole week.

I'm going to ask if I can use a real-life event that happened to me this week.
Recently, I was at school and when I went home I had great news to give my parents. I won my class spelling bee and I was moving on to the school spelling bee! I was so excited that I would be going up against the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th graders next week. The week passed quickly and the school spelling bee came. My mum, dad, brothers, and sisters were all there. 5 rounds passed and most of the people were eliminated...however, I was not. I made it to the final two against an 8th grade boy named David. We battled it out and finally the last word was 'torrential'. I guessed, not knowing that the word was correct. I won the school spelling bee and would be moving on to the city!
In return for my success, my mum and dad gave in to letting me get my dream pet: a puppy! We went to the pet store and I picked an adorable tiny black one. I named him Padfoot Chubacca Diggory Potter. Padfoot for short.
The other night I had a horrible nightmare! I got lost in a big crowd and couldn't find my way back to my parents...I don't really know where I was at...it was scary all the same. Being it was only midnight, I knew my parents would most likely still be awake. Turns out they were. I creeped down the stairs and overheard them having a conversation. My mum was pregnant...again! I sighed heavily. I already had 6 siblings: Drew, Melanie, Ty, Robbie, Danny, and Haydie. The thought of another made my stomach drop. I completely forgot why I had come downstairs and went back up to my bed. I fell asleep after a long time and had another, different nightmare: my mum was having quadruplets. I woke up and ran downstairs, careful not to let my parents hear. I had to hear the rest of the conversation. Turns out, my nightmare was about to become reality...

I can't beleive it! So many things have happened lately! I just went into sixth grade, and middle school is not my cup of tea, but oh well. Both of my best friends, Katie, who is bouncy, competitive, loud, and independant, and Rosa, the beautiful, glowing, smart, mysterious one, are in my class. There is a lot of homework, but I do enjoy the independance. Something wonderful happened today, though! I was writing my report on my favorite president (which wasn't really fun) and was about to fall asleep when Mr. Wyiallas called me to his desk. I was so nervous, my stomach was squirming in the drama of it all- the other two kids who had gotten called to his desk had gotten detention. When I finally got to the small wooden u-shaped table, he smiled at me. I was very confused. Then he spoke all loud, apparently it wasn't private news. "Emily, your wonderful essay is going to be published in Young Journalists!" The whole class gasped. I had written a paper about the issues of eating disorders, and it WAS quite nice work. When I told my parents, my mom squealed, and jumped around, (she is very excitable) where my dad scooped me up into a huge bear hug, telling me how proud he was.
My parents have recently decided that they would give me something I've wanted for years: a horse! Of course, since we live in a small townhouse with only a yard, we couldn't keep him or her at our house, but they said we could find a place where they keep the horses and feed them; but I could take care of her and ride her whenever I wanted to! I was so excited! It took far too long- a month- to get everything all done, but now I have my own beautiful, dark brown mare named Violet! I ride her a lot, and positivley love her!

I'm finally in the 6th grade! I really like it and we had some tests already, and I scored the best of all the kids! I told mom and dad the moment I got home, I almost screamed it, I was so exited. Mom and dad were really proud of me! And because I got such good grades and I had done my very best, mom and dad finally let me have a kitten. The neighbours had had kittens (well, their cat ofcourse) and I could pick one of them. I chose a grey-tiger looking kitten. He's soooo cute! I named him Gabriel. I play with him every day after school, I gave him those balls with bells in them. The ringing all day drives everyone crazy. I had an really afwul dream about him. I dreamed hat he was left in the closet and we went on vacation and he didn't have food and then he died before we came back. I cried and wanted to tell mom and dad. So I went down stairs and I heared mom and dad talking through the door. Dad asked mom how things went at the doctor's. She told him the doctor had said she was pregnant and dad said he was really happy... Well I wasn't! I hate it that mom and dad just do these this and making these decisions without asking our opinions! I don't want another brother or sister and it would be even worse if the were twins again, I don't wan't to have to share my room and there are no empty room in our house.

The coolest thing happened to me last week!!! There's this boy in my class named Alex, and he is so cute and funny and I like him SO much, and then, last week, and totally told me he thinks i'm pretty and he asked me to be his girlfriend!!!! Of course I said YES. My best friend, Chelsea, is completely jealous but she'll get over it! Ethan and Dan don't like Alex, but I don't care. He's so cute, Jess thinks so too, but she's only 8 so she doesn't really know....
Mom and Dad let me get a puppy!!!! He's a golden lab and totally adorable. His name's Bo.
But that's not the biggest news of all, the other night i overheard Mom and Dad talking, and they're having another baby. I was fully so shocked. I mean, they had the rest of us without much gaps in between, but Ben's 5 now so I don't think this new baby is exactly planned. They don't know I overheard and I didn't tell anyone except Ethan, but he's my twin so its ok...

I've just begun sixth grade at the local middle school. It's a lot different than what I'm used to, but I like it (especially because my brothers aren't there with me). I went out for the soccer team and today I found out that I had made the starting lineup! Mom and Dad were thrilled; Dad immediately went to dig up the old video camera so he could tape my first game, which is next Tuesday. I've also convinced Mom to let me quit taking violin lessons and to get us a dog. We brought home our Golden Retriever puppy, Frankie, from the pet store yesterday.
And guess what else? A week ago, I had a nightmare and couldn't go back to sleep. So I went downstairs for a glass of water and overheard Mom and Dad talking in the living room. I couldn't help myself; I eavesdropped. I couldn't believe what I heard: they're having another baby! I was really excited, but I wasn't sure if I should tell Liam and Alec (Tyler and Emily are too little to really know what it means). I decided against it, so that they can be really surprised when Mom and Dad tells us themselves. I kind of hope it's a girl, because younger brothers get too annoying sometimes.

It's three weeks into the sixth grade. I was really worried, since I was moving to middle school, but it has turned out better than I ever dreamed. I went out on a limb and joined the drama club, and guess what!? I got one of the leading roles in our first school play! We are doing Charlotte's Web for the 3-5th grade classes at my old Elementary School, and I'm Fern!
As a reward for All A's last year, and I guess for getting the part in the play my parents finally allowed me to get my own dog! I got a female Border Collie and her name is Sadie.
Hayden and I are on different soccer teams as of last year, Hayden's team won the district championships this season. We're all really proud of her, since she scored the winning goal!
Tyler is liking school better this year, he and Hayden are in fourth grade. He is now really enjoying math and science classes. He still loves his video games best though!
Jenna made the elementary city league soccer team for this coming season. She'll be playing with Hayden, until next year when Hayden moves to the middle school team. She is thrilled about it, Hayden isn't quite sure she wants her little sister tagging along, but I told Hayden I had to put up with it, so now it's her turn! Jenna is also excelling in school and really enjoys the guitar lessons she is now taking.
Emily is in a local Pre-K class and doing very well. She wrote her first name for the first time yesterday!
Matthew has just begun to put small sentences together. "Want Milk" or "No Nap!" Mom and Dad are thrilled. I think it's cute, but not quite that amazing.

Hayden and I are on different soccer teams as of last year, Hayden's team won the district championships this season. We're all really proud of her, since she scored the winning goal!
Tyler is liking school better this year, he and Hayden are in fourth grade. He is now really enjoying math and science classes. He still loves his video games best though!
Jenna made the elementary city league soccer team for this coming season. She'll be playing with Hayden, until next year when Hayden moves to the middle school team. She is thrilled about it, Hayden isn't quite sure she wants her little sister tagging along, but I told Hayden I had to put up with it, so now it's her turn! Jenna is also excelling in school and really enjoys the guitar lessons she is now taking.
Emily is in a local Pre-K class and doing very well. She wrote her first name for the first time yesterday!
Matthew has just begun to put small sentences together. "Want Milk" or "No Nap!" Mom and Dad are thrilled. I think it's cute, but not quite that amazing.

I'm FINALLY in grade 6! The other day, after hockey practise, I came home, and got to tell mom and dad that I was named Captain! I play on an all boys team, so this was really cool! Mom and Dad were really proud. And Natalie got a really important part in her dance pagent, so mom and dad have agreed to let us get a pet! We've decided t get an Australian Shepard, and we're going to name her Lilo. We're hoping mom and dad will let us get a boy too so we can name him Nemo! The other night, Natalie was at a sleepover, so I was sleeping all alone in our room, and I had a bad dream. I went downstairs cause I thought mom and dad would be still up. They were, and I overheard them say that Mom was going to have another baby. I'm sad, becuase this means Natie and I wouldn't be the babies anymore. I don't want to tell my siblings, I don't want them to know I'm sad :( .

Two weeks into sixth grade, I got accepted into the Middle School honors program for Science and History, both of which I love. A week after that, I tried out for the Jr. Hockey Team in our area and got on the team! I am a defenseman and I like playing with all the other guys and going on weekend road trips and doing all sorts of fun stuff together. The best thing we've done so far was to meet some real NHL hockey players. They came and autographed all our stuff and then they played a scrimmage game with us. It was great.
Also, as an early 12th birthday present, Mom and Dad finally bought me a horse. Actually, its a leased horse, but its so cool to finally have my 'own' horse to ride and take care of. It's a solid palomino with a pure white mane and tail. Her name is Trixy. Trixy is sort of hard to ride, but I'm getting to know her better and I think she's starting to like me. I'm really busy, but I love all the activities--especially since some of my brothers and sisters do a lot of them with me. Ethan plays hockey on the same team as me. Wil and Autumn take riding lessons with me. Speaking of brothers and sisters, I'm going to get another one.
