it's always been a dumb blond jerky kind of guy to me. One who's too WASP-y for his own good.

It does sound like a stereotypical blond guy name. Three of the four Chads I knew were blond, and the fourth one was black. And two of the three white Chads were real jerks (and both of the jerk Chads were WASPy).

The jerky Chad whom my daughter knew was blond. I don't know whether or not he was WASPy, though---I can't remember his last name, and don't know from which countries his ancestors came from or how recently they did.
