By white, do you mean white Hispanic? (A lot of Hispanics look like white people - more than one would think.)

No, I mean Caucasian. Both of his parents are white.

BARF.Cultural appropriation by white granola types is a horrible thing. Next thing you know, white people will be naming their kids African names such as Tsholofelo and Ekwueme.Makes me think of the short-lived cartoon "The Goode Family" where the white parents named their adopted son Ubuntu. Bwahahaha.

I think they just liked the name. I've only met them a couple of times, but I wouldn't say they're the granola types.

We are actually Hispanic, but live in an English speaking country. I love foreign names for boys, but I also don't want him to feel like the odd one out. :)

Oh, sorry. I was just confused by your comment about the name sounding too foreign. :)

Sorry, I don't think I worded it right. :)The only reason I said that, is becuase I live in a mainly white area, I don't want him to be teased. :)

I don't think he'd be teased. I think it's a cool name.
