I really like it. I've never been a fan of Margaret because it sounds dry to me, but Marguerite sounds spunky. It's definitely usable.
I prefer Margot to Marguerite, but I'd be delighted to meet either a Marguerite or Margot, and if you went with Marguerite, you could always use Margot as a nickname.
