[Opinions] Ceallach & Suleykah
So I was searching the database for Suleykah because I am strating to adore her. She has all the wonderful things I love about Zuleykah, and while I would miss the Z, I don't miss the "zoo" sound in the beginning of the name.
I didn't find Suleykah, but one of the names that popped up was Ceallach. I think I could really love it actually. It's one of those names that will forever sound better if you have a brogue, but I still like it.
So now I'm curious....what do you think of Ceallach & Suleykah??
ETA: Suleykah / Sulaykha /Suleika instead of Zulaykha / Zuleika is what I was thinking... sorry for not explaining that.

Suleykah is really pretty, though I think I like the spelling Suleika.
Ceallach on the other hand I think would be really hard for people to pronounce and spell. I don't particularly like the sound (it's like KAL akh or K'YAL akh). I'm not sure where you live, but unless it's in Ireland, this name is going to be really confusing to everyone who comes into contact with it!

Yes, I think Ceallach would be best suited for a middle name, but based on what Malk was saying, I think I am less in love with it.
I agree that I prefer Suleika, but I saw it as Suleyka originally, so I guess that's why I posted it wuth that spelling.

OK: didn't know that and now I will always think "hag!" when I see this name
My favorite pelling is Zuleika / Suleika too. Do you think the S sound in front is better than the Z ?

I tried to pronounce them based on intuition/phoentics before I looked them up (I couldnt find Suleykah) and it sounded like I was clearing my throat. If you can explain the proper pronunciation to people Cealach is decente two but they both sound like medical terms to me.
