Message: "Rédoine" - Behind the Name

Found in a French BA, can't seem to find an etymology. INSEE says it was first used in France in 1973. The Rédoines online seem to have mostly Arabic-sounding surnames, so I am wondering if it's a French version of an Arabic name. Any ideas, anyone?

eta: hmm, maybe it's a corruption of Ridwan.

On several French given name websites I found the info that Rédoine and its variant Redouane derive from an Arabic word reda, e.g. here:

That word is used as a given name as well as indicated here, together with a meaning of "contentment":
