Help[Opinions] Crazy BA!
I was just looking at BAs from a local web nursery (actually for a CAF on the Games board that everyone should play) and I was flabbergasted!
The name was...Audrey Petite Hirondelle.
Clearly, there's nothing wrong with Audrey (great name, really), but Petite Hirondelle? It means Little Swallow (the bird, not the verb) in French. That's so wacky and contrivedly cute that it seems like the name of a celebrity's child, lol.
So what do you think?

I'm just grateful Hirondelle's in French
Because the poor girl, if her peers ever found out her mn, would be teased mercilessly if it were Swallow... ew.
To this ignorant English-speaker, Hirondelle actually seems quite pretty. But I wouldn't use it, simply because I know what it means in French, and I wouldn't want that for my daughter even if I were the only one who knew what the name meant.
Petite doesn't have the luxury of having its meaning being unknown to most English-speakers, and appears just as odd to me as it probably would to a French-speaker.
Audrey's lovely, and infinitely better than the trendy Aubrey for a girl imo.

Well at least they gave her a decent first name the child can ignore her middle names and just use the initials if she wishes when she is older

Well.. I wouldn't be too happy with it if I were the child, but I'd still be happy with my fn! And it sounds quite alright, although way too cute. The meaning is horrible in my opinion.
