I have the same feeling about Gillian. Mediaeval, yet modern. Almost as if time didn't matter to her. She's beyond time and space. (Um, am I making any sense here?)
It's funny you suggested Gillian Corinna - which I quite like, by the way -; I used to have the combo Cora Gillian on my list, but, these days, I really felt like using Gillian as a first name.
