Maia is a good choice. I have always liked it along with Amaya. I would have used it myself, but a close friend of mine named her daughter Mya back in '04. I can symphathize with you. My husband and I have the same dilemma when it comes to the topics of boys names. Do you have any guidelines to narrow the search? Is there anything that is off limits?Good Luck!* pronounced EH-vah =)

"My husband and I have the same dilemma when it comes to the topics of boys names. Do you have any guidelines to narrow the search? Is there anything that is off limits?"I feel your pain. In the past, DH has said he doesn't really like names that end in N or Biblical names, which does eliminate a lot of names. I don't know if he's being this picky about boy's names because he is really hoping for just daughters or what. LOL

My hubby won't do biblical either! My 1st son from a previous relationship is Elijah, and he doesn't like it. I prefer Elijah over a 'made up' name like Rahine [his name] any day! It also doesn't help that I cannot stand my MIL and she just has to mention that she came up with the name. I was raised in an urban environment and I have met more than one Rahine in many variations. He likes 'ethnic' names [Javon, Keyshaun] and doesn't mind weird spellings and apostrophes [i.e. L'Vonne], a personal pet peeve of mine. The names he likes are boring to me [ Eric, Devon, Christopher] or just horrible. I also don't have any good choices when it comes to family male names. Here are some names I like:
Kieran
Kai
Malachi
Micah
Lance
Cameron
Damian
Isaac
Matteo
Reese* pronounced EH-vah =)
