I like the syllable pattern of John Jasper, but I really don't like the alliteration in this combo. John Casper, maybe.
I like John Cale. It's short though, so if you have a short last name I wouldn't use it.
I love John William. It's definitely "old-school" and common, but I'd still be happy if I met one.
