[Facts] Talasyn?
Hey guys, this is a name that I recently ran into. All I know about it is that it is feminine and it isn't made up out of thin air--or so I'm told. My limited research hasn't produced any favorable results, so I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about it.
You may give your opinions, too, obviously, but it's the info behind it that I'm really interested in.
Thanks in advance!

Interesting! I never thought about breaking it up into two pieces and figuring it out from there. Wolf invoked during trials, huh? Kinda cool lol. Thanks!
Looks like someone trying to spell Taliesin differently. But then it wouldn't be pronounced quite the same, so maybe not?
Talasyn is pronounced like Allison, but with a T at the front. I had come to the same conclusion though, but since it's pronounced differenly and it's feminine, I didn't know what to think. Thanks for the reply!
Yeah, after posting this I saw your post on the Ops board. You're sure it's not just made up? It has a nice sound, I would be interested to know if it has an actual etymology!
Yeah. I got the name from one of my sister's, who got it on TV, but was only flipping through so she turned the channel before they gave the etymology, and when I told her to turn back, it had been too late and they were dissecting a different name. :( Mercy Joy gave an interesting response though! :D
