I agree about Cecilia. I just adore the name (along with Cecile, Celia & Cecily) but dislike that it means blind. I have often pondered about finding combinations with names that mean "love" or "justice" as in "love is blind" or "blind justice" to make it more of a combined meaning and changing the negative meaning of "blind" alone.

However, I recently found Aracelia which has a similar feel and Selah is very lovely as well.
If you really love a name, and can make a positive association with it you should use it.
