At the beginning of their second year of college, Gabe and Irene mutually broke up. They had gone to colleges two states apart, and they simply grew apart. But he is doing well in college, and Lily has joined him at his university. She has made the adjustment well, and has even gotten a boyfriend! She met Jude in her calculus class. He thought she was pretty and sat next to her, and the two hit it off. He asked her out on a date a few weeks later. Some very good news has recently reached the family--Sara's great-uncle Adrian died with no children or spouse, and left her a huge sum of money. The family used it to finish paying off their house and set up a college fund for the younger children. They also adopted a pet, a dog named Kimi. Life is good for the Rossi family.
