Maria and Samuele recently traveled to the United States with the kids to attend Maria's sister's wedding. They spent two weeks there, and during that time Maria noticed she was late on her cycle. She took a home pregnancy test and, sure enough, positive! Once the family returned to Italy Maria and Samuele immediately went to her doctor. The ultrasound to comfirm showed something shocking--Maria was carrying triplets! They were staggered and a bit overwhelmed at doubling their family in one fell swoop, but as they got used to the idea they began to be excited. Giacomo, Sierra, and Bettina were all very excited and fasinated, as they had never known anyone to have triplets before. Maria and Samuele thought it would be fun to give the kids first names popular in the U.S., since that is where they found out they were pregnant. Their middle names were all after American cities. The pregnancy progressed normally and the triplets were born at 37 weeks. They are all fraternal, though they look very much alike. For now all of the triplets share a nursury, but the house they bought has six bedrooms. All of the babies are healthy and utterly spoiled by their older siblings. Misa was jealous at first, but after sulking for a few days became curious and then rather interested. Olivia is the loudest of the triplets and will cry for small things. Sofia is the most mellow, rather like Bettina was as a baby. Michael is somewhere in between, sometimes crying just for attention but mostly a sweet little boy.
