[Opinions] Quite "interesting" names of twin girls
I just encountered some names of twin girls which I found rather irksome to be honest.
The girls, who were in their early 20s, were named:
Ann Celina and Ann Chalotte And no, that's not a typo; the one twin *was* actually Chalotte without the r.
They went by their middle names, by the way.
I really don't mind the names on their own (I prefer Anne to Ann, though), but on twin girls I just find the names way too matchy. They even have the same first name, which just irks me...

EH?!I like Ann and Anne, but by golly that's just ridiculous.

Why would they have the same first name? I know they went by their middle name but come on. And Chalotte, what's up with that?

I agree! Why name your twins the same exact name. Weird! I would have went by my middle name as well. I don't care for Chalotte. I love Charlotte. One little letter can make such a difference.

Both are Ann?Now that's just not right. The only place where I could see siblings with the same first name are in some Catholic families where the daughters all have some form or Mary and the sons John or Joseph...like I wouldn't mind a family with a Maria Magdalena and a Maria Antonia...my family used to do that sort of thing in Germany (although I don't know if they were Catholic, but definitely old-fashioned, probably very religious Germans). But seriously, Ann? That doesn't count as a name you can use twice for a religious purpose...seriously I've never seen that done. Although, once when I was 8 and going through a hippy phase, I was so enamored with the name Shannon that when I wrote a story for school I made Florence's younger twin sisters Shannon Brady and Shannon Eleanor! However, that's slightly different.
