I think that sounds fantastic, the names have meaning together, but it's subtle, unlike Joy and Hope or something like that. I love Alexei on a girl. I love this either as a sibset or for twins, in fact, I wish I had have thought of it myself!

I think Nikolai would work better than Nicolae. Paired with Alexei, it'd make for a nice twin set. I'm sure Alexei could work on girl but I think of it as strictly male.

I like them. They're a little foreign, but not unheard of, which is always good. I know a girl named Alexi, and that works fine, not sure about Alexei though.

I like the names, as a male set. I prefer Nikolai and Aleksy though. I don't like them on females at all.

I would probably prefer Alexi but I think you could get easily get away with Alexei on a girl. I dont really like Nicolae but I think the meanings of the names are really nice!

I don't think Alexei would well on a girl, maybe Alexi or Alexis would be better for that. And Alexei doesn't mean "--of human kind", but I still like this name a lot anyway and I think it goes well with Nicolae, except I only like that name as Nikolai.

I much prefer Nikolai and Alexei but I think they would probably not get pron. properly in English speaking countries.
