Solomon is so much more attractive than Shlomo. I gated a guy named Gilli Shlomo once, and he was totally insecure about his middle name. Soloman is poetic and so much more musical.
Sroel is not too bad - I would look at its status in Israel if I could - see what the feeling of the name is there. (I have been told that Yiddish, and presumably Yiddish names, are not seen favorably in Israel, but I could have been told wrong).
