I like
Rowland
since it's the original spelling in a story I like, but I like
Roland
too. What do you think?
#Roland
#Rowland

Rowland
only if you're deliberately going for the historical angle (like in a story). Otherwise definitely
Roland
.

Roland
I want to pronounce
Rowland
as ROW-land at first glance. Plus
Roland
is very very close to my surname, so it looks right. I actually think it's a handsome name... very medieval and chivalrous!

Roland.
Rowland
may get pronounced as ROW-land instead of RO-land.
