They hit it off soon after being introduced and just over a year later they were engaged. William proposed during a scenic helicopter flight for Ingrid's birthday. They were married in a small garden ceremony at Ingrid's family home- the same place where they met.

Writing for this round: A year after their marriage it was decided that Ingrid would no longer take the pill. No more than two months later, much to their amazement, they found themselves looking at a positive pregnancy test. They are both looking forward to becoming parents.

Writing for this round: The parents hadn't been planning to have a second child so soon after the birth of Morgan/ Diana, but they are delighted. Life was quite hectic for the first few months of Vera/ Tobias's life, as Ingrid had a few health problems and the baby was a bad sleeper, so Ingrid's mother moved in to help out the young family. Things have improved now, and Morgan/ Diana just adore their younger brother/ sister.

Two days before Fionnghuala’s first birthday Clementine found out that she was pregnant. Fionnghuala was absolutely beautiful and the light of her life, but boy are they hard work and very time consuming. So much so that Lucas and Clem could not believe that she could be pregnant as they have little time and energy for anything at the moment... well they managed once this last month and there you go. She found having a very lively child emotionally draining and do get down on bad days, wishing for some freedom back, especially time with her husband like before they had children. There was also the financial side of things to worry about. They both work, she work part time. That is why Clem thought of an abortion but then Margaret told that if she did something like that she should forget that she have parents. So Clem kept the baby (babies as they found out later) and at the end she could never believe what huge mistake she would do if she didn’t kept the babies. Bu of course even after twins Fionnghuala was the queen of the family and her father’s heart

Claude and Vanessa had a quarrel on the name. Claude wanted her to be after Desdemonda, his mother, and Vanessa wanted Veronique. Finally, they settled on Vera Perdita, combining both elements.

When Chloe was only six months old, Juliet began to suspect that she was pregnant again -- she had terrible morning sickness every day, was extremely irritable, and was suddenly craving pickles and cream cheese all the time. But since Alec had just graduated and was in the tiring process of looking for a job, she didn't want to tell him until she was 100% sure. The doctor confirmed her suspicions, and on Father's Day Juliet told Alec he was going to be a daddy again.

At first Alec was less than pleased -- they were both still young, and with the pressures of providing for his family and finding a job that would allow him to do so, he didn't feel like he could handle being saddled with two children under the age of two. He loved his daughter more than anything, but he hadn't expected bringing another child into the world so soon.

Thus throughout the pregnancy Alec remained somewhat distant. Juliet tried to get him excited and kept prodding him for name suggestions, but all he would contribute was "Alec James Jr." Finally everything came to a head when, as Juliet tried to get him to talk about names again, Alec blew up and shouted that he wasn't ready to have another baby and stormed out of the apartment.

Of course, Alec felt horrible after this happened -- even more so when he came back home and found a note from Juliet that she had taken Chloe and moved back in with her parents. The couple were separated until Chloe's 1st birthday party, when Alec finally got a chance to apologize to his girlfriend and beg her forgiveness. At this point, Juliet was seven months pregnant and knew that 1) her children needed their father in their lives, and 2) she still loved Alec. They reconciled and Juliet and Chloe moved back in to the apartment, though Alec was understandably on a very short leash.

Two months later, Alec and Juliet welcomed a son, Wyatt Gabriel -- and Alec couldn't be more enamored with his girlfriend and his two kids.

By the time J.R. was three months old, Vera was quite anxious to have another child. Angie was not so sure, but Vera convinced her that it would be better to have children close together in age, so decided to start trying for another. Once again, Vera became pregnant fairly quickly, and they began preparing for a new addition. When they discovered that they were expecting twins, they were shocked and a little frightened. Fortunately, their twin daughters were born healthy. Since Vera got to name their first child, Angie got to choose the twins' first names. Vera chose their middle names. She had wanted to name their first child Vivien Lucasta if he had been a girl, but Angie had vetoed both names. For the twins, she agreed to them both as middle names in exchange for using the first names she wanted.

Going from one child to three was quite the transition, especially with J.R. being only eighteen months old. Vera's mother and sister came to visit for a while and help care for J.R. while the moms adjusted to their new additions. Despite being identical twins, the girls began to demonstrate very different temperaments right away. Laura was very fussy and demanded a great deal of attention, while Camille was quieter. Angie joked that this should satisfy Vera's "baby fever" for quite a while. Vera was not so sure about that.

Emi was completely baffled when she found out she was pregnant again. They had been using protection, so she didn't expect it all. She was afraid to tell Rodney, because last time he had gotten very upset when she told him she was expecting Carson.

Rodney came home late at night after work when Emi was asleep. He went to the bathroom and accidently knocked over the bin. Out came rolling a home pregnancy test. It was positive. He wasn't happy at all. He thought taking care of one child was enough, he didn't want another child.

---

The next morning at breakfast he asked her if she was going to have an abortion. Emi was shocked, because she didn't even know he knew yet. "Do you want me to?" she asked carefully. "Yes" he said. "Okay then I will." she replied "Good" he said and walked out of the house. She cried at first and then called her doctor.

At the clinic Emi realised she really couldn't go through with the abortion and decided to keep the baby, and not tell Rodney just yet. But a couple of months later, when Rodney looked closely at his girlfriend, he realised she was pregnant. He was very angry about it and alsso very angry that she hadn't even told him she had kept the baby. That night after work he went home with a lady who had been flirting with him all night. He slept with her without even feeling the slightest bit of guilt about it. He knew she'd be back at the bar again next week...

When Emi was 8 months pregnant, she decided she couldn't keep up with school anymore and quit. She knew she wouldn't have time anyway with 2 babies in the house. She went home and did the laundry and realised that Rodney's clothes had lipstick on them, it was even on his underwear! She wanted to confront him with this when he got home, but instead she chose to just wash his clothes and pretend she didn't just found evidence of her boyfriend sleeping with anyone else. She wasn't up to facing the truth in her state and she was scared he'd run off, and she'd end up being a single mom of two babies, with no one to help her.

3 weeks later Cassius Fabian was born. He was very healthy and, luckily, proved to be an easier baby than Carson had been.

Writing: (Nora and Oscar found that having a baby was a great joy but also hard work. They watched little Zephyr grow for a year and decided that it would be nice if he had a sibling to play with. They wanted their two children to be close in age, so they planned the second birth. They were hoping for a baby girl, because it is commonly thought that girls are easier to handle (and they also wanted variety), nevertheless, little Jason was greatly welcomed. It is hard for Nora to cope; what with her job and two infant boys, but it was to be expected, so she has taken extended leave from her work. Little did she know about what misfortunes would befall her family later in the year...)

Random event: (Nora’s sister, a single mother of a 3 year old girl, died suddenly in a car accident. Her daughter was in the car with her, but survived the crash with only a few bruises. Since Nora is the girl’s godmother, she was asked to take care of her.
Nora had loved her sister greatly and was devastated when she heard of her unfortunate death. She accepted her niece and godchild Matilda Verona Winters without a second thought, and of course Oscar was very supportive throughout the whole procedure. Nora only changed the spelling and pronunciation to Mathilde's name (because she thought it sounded more elegant and suiting for the child), and also the last name, from Winters to Alagona. She wasn't going to honour her sister's divorced (and irresponsibly vanished) husband by keeping his last name for the child; but she saw it fit to give Mathilde her family name, Alagona. So now she is Mathilde Verona Alagona.
Now obviously life at home has become suddenly more hectic than ever. Having to take care of three infant-toddlers is more than a new mother of only one year can handle. So poor Nora has hired an experienced nanny three times a week to help her out. Oscar does what he can, but now he is working harder, because he is the sole income of the household and also has to cover the new expenses.)

Shortly after Shiloh turned six months old, Nikki felt the familiar morning sickness that she had felt while carrying her first child. She tried to brush it off as a touch of the flu--after all, she couldn't be pregnant again so soon after Shiloh's birth. After two weeks, however, Nikki thought that a second pregnancy might be a possibility. She took a pregnancy test and was shocked to find that it was positive. She told Andrew that night that she was expecting again. He was just as surprised as she had been, but excited about the prospect of being a new daddy once again.

Since Andrew still had 1 1/2 years of schooling left to get his doctorate, they decided that Nikki would work for as long as she was able--after all, she had just returned to work after four months of maternity leave. Andrew continued at his schooling and his part-time job. Nikki worked until her fifth month, but she started getting really tired. She asked her OB if there was something she could do to ease her fatigue. He said that he wasn't sure, and ordered an extra ultrasound to make sure that the baby was doing okay. To everyone's surprise, that second ultrasound showed that Nikki was carrying twins! Nikki continued working for another three weeks, then decided to call it quits.

Nikki enjoyed being home all day, especially since she had more time with Shiloh (who didn't have to go to the neighbors all day) and Andrew (whom she saw between his classes). Nikki went into labor one morning six weeks before the twins were due. The doctors had told her to expect a preterm delivery, but she and Andrew were still scared that something would be wrong with their babies.

On his way home from work, Loki found a stray kitten by his car. He took it home, and both he and Alyxandra tried for weeks to find its owner, with no success. However, Alyxandra's sister fell in love with the kitten and took it home.

Jill and Chris had just had their new baby, a little girl (who's middle name they picked after a work of literature), when Chris's brother was killed in a car accident. Chris had not seen his brother in a long time and had never met little Gabriel so he was surprised that he was the godfather. Chris and Jill decided they would take care of Gabriel. Even though Chris had not seen his brother in a long time, he does miss him and he will tell Gabriel about his father as he grows up.

Taking care of three kids under age three is very exhausting for Chris and Jill and they want to wait before they have child number four. Little Aurelia was planned however.
