I do say it like son of a. I'd really like it if I didn't. I can say it sun-ee-va if I say it slow, but I don't talk slow.
Other than that, I don't think there's a teasing issue. I remember this was sort of a BTN-trendy name not long after I started posting. People liked it for the NN Sunny, if I recall right.
