It's been one year since we adopted Rivka and Kelila. They are doing well, and they have made a large amount of progress since being adopted. Christina and Rivka have bonded closely because their situations were similar. Kelila has made lots of friends, and she is an outgoing girl with a wonderful singing voice. She has also started taking ballet lessons. Both Rivka and Kelila are now attending school, and they have tutors three days a week to help them catch up on all the learning that they missed as children. Rivka's baby was born two and a half months after she and her sister arrived. We encouraged Rivka to give her baby a name that she liked, and Rivka chose to name her son Ari Moshe (Ari means lion and Moshe is a form of Moses, which means deliverer). Ari was small at birth--2 lb. 4 oz. and 17 inches long. Now, however, he's doing wonderfully and is a wonderful addition to the family.
