Thank you for increasing our family. Transitions were a little difficult as Saturnin was overwhelmed socially by all the new people and transitioning to American schools was hard on Irena, Leon, and Saturnin, but they have since settled in and all of the younger boys are enjoying having new brothers close to their age.Nancy has fit in nearly seemlessly as she is used to starting afresh and once she new we were a permanent home not foster home she was ready to let herself be loved. She pretends to find the younger boys annoying, but seems to be acting like an older sister already. She also seems to think Irena is the coolest person ever because she's older. It took some time to get Oscar to open up where his feelings were concerned but he's taken a liking to our mustang as it reminds him of one his father once had boarded on their farm. He's been letting the younger ones help out and teaching Nancy the ropes, so he feels more like he has a role to fill which is helping.Eugenia is doing well and is set to finish schooling with a nearby homeschool group. She's working as a clerk at a local grocerystore and sending all the money she can keep home. In the fall she plans to start in community college. She has been more a friend than a daughter because of the close proximity of our ages.
