I would hate for that to happen to
Adelaide.
In a way I'm glad it is becoming a little better known, but I was happier when
Adelaide was in the high 900's on the chart. Honestly, I don't think it will make it into the top 300 or so, unless some celebrity uses it. I doubt it will make it as high up the charts as
Isabella though.
Adelaide is one of my favourite names, it's my oldest daughters name.

As for combos, I think
Adelaide works well with simple mns, one or two syllables.

Pearl. Longer, frillier names work as well, but might be too much unless the ln is short.
