It's my youngest dd's name and while it wasn't my first choice, it has grown on me. It suits my little one and the nns are plentiful and come easily. I've always called my children different forms of their names. With Anna, I began with Annabella, then Bella, then Annie, Anya, Anouk, Annushka and Annika. My dh's and my two current favorites are Annie and Annika. Annika, in particular, was a surprise because it has come so easily. It's almost effortless now and I can see why it's a pet form of Anna. BTW, she now calls me Mamaka in response which I love. ;-)
