Yes, I know what you mean. I get the same feel from the name. However, that's sort of the beauty of it all. This Natalie hates her name and she hates superficiality. She wants to be different and not have to wear certain clothes to have friends.
I was thinking of Nate but I may just decide to go with full out Natalie.
