I like these names, but doubt most of them are usable here:
For girls, all those naturey flower names. I tried out what they would be in Swedish, just for fun...
Poppy - 'Vallmo'
Tiger Lily - '
Tiger Lilja'
Saffron - 'Saffran'
Bluebell - 'Blåklocka', the 'å' is a no go, as is 'ä' and 'ö', those letters aren't international enough.
Dandelion - 'Maskros'; never ever, it's much prettier in English. I don't think of the flower when I hear Dandelion actually. 'Maskros' means 'worm rose' really. Ugh.
Lark - 'Lärka', sweet, pity there's an 'ä'.
Summer - 'Sommar'
Blossom - people would think she was named after a Swedish celebrity, so no.
Clementine - just too close to the fruit.
Florence - Though I prefer
Flora and
Fleur.
Grier - Spellt as
Greer
Boys:
Schuyler - my GP
Emerson -
George Emerson!
Ace - I think it's cool, I can't help myself.
