[Facts] Adela--German pronunciation
How would the name Adela be pronounced in German? "Ah-day-lah" (long "a" sound) or "Ah-del-ah" (no "a" sound)? Or neither?

The e would be like the e in the English word "bet".
Thanks. So, to clarify--a short "e", as in "dell"? "Ah-DEL-ah"?
I am not really sure whether the e is long or short because I never heard this particular name spoken. But if it was meant to be short one would probably write the name Adella, and I do know the very similar name Adele where the e is not short.
By the way, I would see the syllables as a - de - la, not a - del - a.
Hope that helps :)

Thanks very much!
the e is not as short as in "dell". it's like "dell" pronounced with a longer e if you want :) ah-deh-lah
Thanks!
