Nevaeh causes such a big uproar. I don't agree with the fact that it is sacriligious or along the lines of an upsidedown cross- I'm going to ditto both
Cleveland Kent Evans and
Adelle in their answers to that- I think they are both spot on.
As for the name, I like the sound of it, I think its quite pretty, but I'd never personally use it as it seems rather trendy to me. However, it doesn't bother me that it was reently created, or how it was created, because all names have to start somewhere. Sure it doesn't have years of history behind it, which is why it feels trendy and insubstantial to me. What I don't like is changes t the speling, such as Neveah, which makes it Haeven backwards and seems to defeat the whole purpose of the names existance. I also don't like it when parents who have used/ will use
Nevaeh are adament that it means White Butterfly or whatever- it is
Heaven spelled backwards. Thats it.
But all in all, it is just a name.
