I don't care for it; it doesn't feel like a name to me. It's not at all feminine or pretty, and I think of all words concerning electricity. If associations bother you (they don't me), but I think people will think of the movie Elektra (they did spelling it with the k, right?).Edit: Formatting.

Reminds me of the Electra complex- REALLY not a good association, if you know what it is.

But...If we let all name associations bother us, then there wouldn't be any names left that people would deem suitable. People still like the name Rex, and don't mention Oedipus Rex (the Oedipus Complex...Freudian). I think the people of "today" will think of Elektra movie more, rather than the Electra Complex, which Freud, again, "founded" (so, it all depends if you choose to believe him, really). But, as I said, I don't let associations bother *me*.
