...would be Parthalan, I suppose. I've found sources which claim that this is the Irish equivalent of "Bartholomew", while others claim that this name is entirely of Celtic origin. And both names are connected in Ireland, in much the same manner as are Malachi and these Maoil/Mael names you'd mentioned.-- Nanaea
