Hi i am in the Uk where Esme is imensely popular now - every other girl seems to be called Esme - but they all only have one 'E'.
Does it really make a difference?
i would say just the one 'E' but maybe it is because that is what i am used to.

Once upon a time...

Esme was the male version. It's been a while, rather like Lesley and Evelyn and so on.
