Kat was the nickname of choice.

I kinda wish we'd gone with the Mariam spelling.

I like both spellings. Miri or Mari are cute nicknames, but I don't know if your Miriam could ever go by those.

Nope.

I knew a Miriam who went by Miri, it's what caused me to love the name. But Miriam is already too close to Mira, and she has an aunt named Mary.

I love the nn Mimi as well, but that's my mom's grandma name.
