Congratulations Ben, Lori, Naomi, and Zach, we have found three children from Russia for you!
Marfa is ten and the oldest of the three. She lost her legs in an accident which killed her parents, so she must be in a wheelchair. She was not able to get one until she came too us. However, she is a bright girl who loves to learn. She also loves to take care of children - especially her siblings.
Nataliya is her five-year-old sister who was also injured in the accident. Her injuries were only to the extent of a lost toe and two lost fingers. This does not stop her from climbing trees and all manner of things. She is a tom-boy.
The youngest is two-year-old Osip. He was only a baby when the accident happened and he injured his head badly. This made him retarded. The doctors say that he will be able to learn quite a bit, but will probably always think as a child would. He will need lots of loving care.
We would love to know how Marfa, Nataliya, and Osip are doing!

Dear DLB Adoption Agency;
We would like to tell you that Marfa, Nataliya, and Osip have fully adjusted to living in our family! Naomi has taken a shine to Marfa and spends a lot of time with her and Nataliya. Zach was a little overwhelmed at first, but has since become a favorite of Osip's. Marfa goes to a regular school now and she is doing great. She loves to tell stories and seems to enjoy encouraging her classmates during Phys. Ed. class. Nataliya will start Kindergarten next year. Right now, she is attending an Early Intervention program to help her get up to speed on everything she should be learning. Nataliya likes to show people her missing appendages and sometimes we have to remind her that not everyone wants to see her missing fingers and toe. Osip is a great source of joy to our family! He loves to giggle, laugh, and tell lame jokes that, of course, he believes are hilarious. Osip is also attending an Early Intervention program.
Thank you very much for letting Marfa, Nataliya, and Osip be a part of our lives!
