Oh yes it's very interesting I've been sharing the last month or so on here about different names I found in my genealogy search. The farthest ancestor I was able to trace back to was Edward III!! He was my 20th great grandfather!!
Please rate my "Names I would Use" list & "Backup Favorites" list. Feel free to rate some of my other lists too if you have the time.

I've noticed, because these posts are always intriguing! Wow, you found your 20th great-grandfather? The two other Edward's must've been of some relation, too! Honestly, that makes me want to look at my own genealogy, more in depth. Lolol, I wonder how far back I can go. Thank you again for sharing this with us!!
I've been using ancestry.com they have a LOT of records information. (This is not a paid promotion lmao) And a lot of times even when I hit a wall and they don't have a record of parents for a certain person, a fair percentage of the time, if I just put the name of that person, their birthplace and years they were alive just in a google search I can still just find their parents. I've even been getting some of my real life friends into this recently too and one of my friends is decended from the "Romeo and Juliet" of the Hatfield / McCoy Feud.
