Names don't translate. While many have origins with a known meaning, is not always a meaning which is translatable, and many names don't have a known meaning (or a meaning known to users). Names instead are usually adapted in some way, with changes in pronunciation and spelling to suit the local vernacular. So the real question is, do Maori often use Riki as their adaptation of Richard/Ricky? That's harder to verify. Riki is a Maori name, meaning small (other translations are loans from English with Maori pronunciation leek and league both become riki, with a different vowel length).
