The recent post about seasonal names had me thinking about this.
I've always viewed
Autumn as a more "established" season-turned-name, whereas
Summer seemed younger to me as far as name usage. I don't know that there's any factual validity to that, but it has always been my perception.
Beside the point.
I have no qualms about
Summer, but it isn't a particular favorite.
I would reiterate what RoxStar said below: the middle name shouldn't be a noun unless you want to it to sound like an air freshener. (
Summer Rain, or something.)
I also think I would pair it with something older, more established. I also think it's a name that begs for a middle name beginning with a vowel sound:
