[Opinions] Re: Who Do You Think You Are?

Joeina- weirdly masculine, reminds me of names like Edwardine and Sebastienne. Why didn’t they use Joanna or Josephine?
Roland- reminds me of the mayor from Schitts Creek. I don’t like it, but it was probably a good name at the time.
Mary- classic, exactly what I expect from the period.
Christina- timeless, not much to say.
James- also timeless. It’s my cousins name.
Willamina- I like this spelling more than Wilhelmina, it’s more comprehensive.
George- good for the time, hasn’t really kept the same appeal.
Nettie- cute as a nickname, but I don’t like it as a legal name. I like Netta and Janet a lot.
Frances- it’s just okay. I prefer Francesca or even just Frankie.
Isaclena- weird, clunky, and I’ve never heard it before.
Rachel- boring but I don’t hate it.
Rhoda- honestly, I hope this name never comes back. I think it sounds super ugly.
Maxwell- good name, but it reminds me a bit too much of dogs.
Bertha- I never understood why this was popular even at the time. The “birth” sound is very unflattering.
