I prefer the look of Greyson, too, but "gray" is the more common spelling of the color in the U.S. so I see why Grayson is more common. That said, an old acquaintance of mine recently had a son they named Greyson, and we're American; but I think they chose that spelling because it looks better with the surname (contains Es, but no As).As for the name itself, I kind of like it - which is high praise from me, considering I'm not normally a fan of -son names or obvious surnames as first names.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381
