I like Adeline. Add a Line doesn't bother me a lot, its just "eh". I do prefer Madeline or Adalyn (ad-uh-lin). I just think they sound prettier.
Most names ending in -een sound harsh/nasal to my ears, but Adeline (ad-uh-leen) isn't one of the worst. I like -eena more, because it doesn't end nasally. Rosalina, Adelina, Madelina, Angelina instead of Rosalinda Adeline, Madeline, and Angeline.
The alternate spellings Addilyn, Adelynn and Adilyn aren't my cup of tea, but they aren't bad. My favorite of them is Adalyn. I'm not sure why.
