I pronounce it "Ky-uh". I thought this spelling wouldn't be as confusing with pronunciation. Whereas, Kaya could be pronounced as "Kay-uh" or mistaken for Kayla. I like both spellings and pronunciations, personally. But, Kaia is strictly "Ky-uh".
