[Opinions] Re: WDYT of Delta?

I sort of like it because of Delta Burke. I never followed the show but I just thought she was really cute on Designing Women.
I primarily think of the song "Delta Dawn," which was turned into a hit when I was a small child and got heavy mainstream radio play throughout my childhood (the Helen Reddy version).
So I feel like it's ultra Southern, and always just assumed it refers to the Mississippi Delta (even though the song is about someone from Tennessee, I never noticed that. I was from California).
I also slightly think of the Greek letter delta (symbolizing an increment of change?) and the tri-delta sorority. But that's not something that would affect the image of the name for a person, imo.
I can't even connect it with the virus thing at all.
