1. I say RAH-zuh-lynn, which I like a lot. I know a lot of people dislike that pronunciation, but I think the other ones sound a bit wussy!
2.
My favourite spelling depends on how you want to say it.
RAH-zuh-lynn:
RosalynRAHZ-lynn:
RoslynROH-sah-lynn:
Rosalin, Rosalinne
ROH-sah-leen:
Rosaleen,
RosalineROH-sah-lyne:
Rosalineroh-ZELL-in: Rose-Ellen,
Rose Ellen, Rosellen
roh-ZAA-lin: Rosallen, Rose-Allen
3. I like it, particularly if she's called Raz. :)
My favourites are
Rosaleen,
Rosalyn, and Rosellen.
Rosaline reminds me too much of "rosin."
4. I could see the more "refined" forms, like
Rosaline, coming around, but
Rosalyn? Not really.
