Once an editor has made changes to a submitted name, the original submitter can no longer make changes (unless they are also an editor). So no, you haven't done anything wrong, that's a normal function of the site.
I don't believe you can un-anonymize yourself but I'm not 100% sure on that.
If you would like to make changes now, go to this page: https://www.behindthename.com/submit/submit and go to the bottom box ("Correct an Existing Name") and submit your changes through there. You will not see the changes right away, you will have to wait for an editor to see them and add them on. I believe most editors are open to being PMed with changes too (I am).
